How to make Chana Masala TacosIngredientsFor Tacos-· 10-12 Taco shell·1 slice onion·  Coriander leafFor Chana Masala Mix-2 tablespoons olive oil1 teaspoon cumin seeds1 bay leaf1 cup chopped onions red or white onion1 tablespoon minced ginger 1-inch, grated or minced1 tablespoon minced garlic 3-4 cloves, grated or minced1 cup crushed tomatoes 2 Roma tomatoes, pureed or finely chopped1 teaspoon salt¼ teaspoon turmeric powder1 tablespoon coriander powder1 teaspoons garam masala1 teaspoon cumin powder1 teaspoon kashmiri red chili powder1 teaspoon amchur (dry mango powder) or substitute1 teaspoon lime juice1 teaspoon chaat masala3 cups cooked chickpeas2 cups water Method-Chop ginger, garlic and chilliesHeat the pan, when hot, add oil, cumin seeds and bay leaf. When cumin seeds sizzle, add chopped onions. Sauté 3-4 minutes, until onions soften.Add minced ginger, garlic and chilli sauté another 2 minutes.Add crushed tomato along with the spices listed for chana masala. Stir and cook for a minute.Add cooked chickpeas and water.Close the lid and pressure cook for 5 minutes at high pressure on sealing mode.5 minutes after pressure cooking stir and check for taste. How to make Butter Chicken MomosIngredients for Momo Stuffing-Chicken mince 200 gramsGaram masala powder 1/2 teaspoonGarlic finely chopped 1/2 tablespoonGinger finely chopped 2 teaspoonsRed chilli powder 1 1/2 teaspoonsSalt to tasteFenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) powder 1/4 teaspoonCloves 3-4Ghee 2 teaspoonsIngredients for Momo Dough-Refined Flour 1 and 1/2cupSalt 1tspBaking soda 1 tspBaking powder 1tspWater 8 -10 tbsp GravyIngredients for Gravy-Oil 1 tablespoonButter 1 tablespoonCloves 3-4Green cardamoms 2-3Mace 1 bladeCinnamon 1 noGinger-garlic paste 1 tablespoonFresh tomato puree 1 1/2 cupsTomato puree 1/2 cupSalt to tasteRed chilli powder 1/2 teaspoonGaram masala powder 1/2 teaspoonDried fenugreek leaves (Kasuri methi) powder 1/4 teaspoonHoney 1/2 teaspoonFresh cream 1/4 cup + to garnish.Fresh coriander leaves to garnish Method –To make the momos, take chicken in a mixing bowl and add garam masala powder, garlic, ginger, red chilli powder, salt and dried fenugreek powder and mix well.· Divide the dough into equal portions and shape into balls. Cut out roundels with a medium sized cookie cutter. Place some mince mixture in the centre of each roundel, apply water on the edges and bring the sides together.· Steam the momos for 10-12 minutes. Take them off the heat.· To make the gravy, heat oil in a non-stick pan, add butter and let it melt. Add cloves, green cardamoms, and mace, mix and sauté till fragrant. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix and sauté for 1 minute. Add fresh and canned tomato puree, mix well and saute for 3-4 minutes on medium heat.· Add salt and red chilli powder and mix well. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes or till oil separates.· Strain the mixture into another non-stick pan and place it on heat. Add garam masala powder, dried fenugreek leaves powder and honey, mix well and cook for 1 minute.· Transfer the momos to a serving plate, pour the gravy over them, drizzle fresh cream, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot. #homecentreindia #fusionfood #ButterChicken #Momos #TastyFood #MustTry
